The 1983 Topps Football Wax Box featuring 1983 NFL MVP Joe Theismann (and his distinct single bar face-mask) on the box lid cover, is one of the toughest 80’s wax boxes to find in a “Non X-Out” form.

Topps also made a major change to the number of cards in their football set beginning in ’83 as they dropped from 528 cards down to 396 cards.
