The 1981 Fleer here’s Bo! Wax Box features Bo Derek cards and mini posters along with facts about her life.
All of the cards depict the actress and model in scenes from her (then) husband John Derek’s flop movie “Tarzan, The Ape Man”. Because of this fact, many believe Fleer intended to release this series based on the movie yet made a last minute decision to shift the focus on Bo after the Tarzan movie received an R rating.
