This BBCE/FASC authenticated unopened 1980 Topps Baseball Rack Box is a pinnacle addition to any dedicated vintage unopened collection or investment stash. Topps saw 1980 as the last year that it held a monopoly over the U.S. sports card market as both Donruss and Fleer became competitors in 1981. Ironically, the 1980 Topps Baseball checklist features the most valuable and desired baseball rookie card of the entire 80’s decade, Rickey Henderson!

Baseball’s all time greatest lead off hitter holds the MLB records for most career stolen bases, most runs scored, most unintentional walks, most lead off home runs, and most references to himself in the third person.
Famous baseball historian and statistician Bill James once said about Rickey Henderson, “if you could split Rickey in half, you would have two hall of famers.”

The fact that this box was wrapped immediately from being removed from a sealed case means that the twenty-four rack packs contained inside have never been touched by human hands since originally leaving the Topps factory over 40+ years ago.
