The final release for Topps in 1955 was a series targeted to the youth of our nation that were not just baseball fans! In what would go on to be described as Topps’ “coup de grace” (final blow) to Bowman, Topps issued this hybrid non-sport series featuring historical trains and ships.

Along with the ever popular year of production (1955), the expert design of the cards and witty/informative backs made this series one of Topps most important and coveted non sports products in the company’s history.

As of this writing, only 9 individual packs have ever been graded by PSA and empty raw boxes regularly sell for $600-800 or more on the open market.
