This 1953 Bowman Color (#40) Larry Doby baseball card has been given a VG-EX grade of 4 by SGC and has fantastic eye appeal.

In July 1947, three months after Jackie Robinson made history with the Brooklyn Dodgers, Doby broke the color barrier in the American League when he signed a contract to play with the Cleveland Indians.

Doby was the first player to go directly to the majors from the Negro leagues.
